North Shore Lake Home

This incredible lake home was completed in the summer of 2015. Much of the interior design work was done by Sherry Simmons of Veche' Inc. The property had an existing home, which was taken down and the new home constructed in its place. The unique design takes great advantage of the lake views along with giving our clients comforts, space and great natural lighting! The beamed great front entry leads you into the open foyer area. As you enter the home there is a stairway to your right leading to the lower level. The large laundry room is also on the right, and on the left side of the foyer area is a large office with a built-in bookshelf. Continuing into the home there is a powder bath on the left, and farther along is a large beamed great room with high ceilings, a gas burning fireplace, and large windows overlooking Lake Superior. To the left of the great room is the master suite which includes a gas fireplace, and large gorgeous windows overlooking Lake Superior and a doorto access an outdoor patio. The master bathroom has a walk-in tile shower, a jetted tub with another gas fireplace built into the wall for maximum comfort, "his and her" sinks, and a large custom walk-in closet. To the right of the great room is an open kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is complete with a pantry, large island with it's own sink, and our custom cabinetry. Off of the dining area, there is access to a large outdoor deck that also as great views of Lake Superior. This deck is actually the roof of a lower level screen porch that you can enter either by way of the exterior door, or through the sliding glass door coming from the interior of the lower level of the home. The lower level includes a large "bunk" room, a full bath, mechanical room, a nice sized storage room and large recreational room that is open to a wet bar area. From this open area you access the screen porch.
