Here at Bruckelmyer Brothers Construction, we build many different homes of all sizes and shapes, and not only do we build large homes, but also smaller ones. Small homes make excellent retirement homes, first homes, lake homes, or can take care of a smaller family’s needs. Our 1255 square foot, 2 bedroom, 1 bath 2013 Parade Home shows that even though a home is small, it could still have all the great aspects that our larger ones have.
The exterior of this home has monogram vinyl siding, Marvin windows, a metal roof, aluminum soffit and steel fascia. A fiberglass door finishes off the exterior of the home. The options are endless when choosing materials to build your small home.
The living room has our custom cabinetry built in, stained doors, and trim, creating a cozy and inviting living space. One way to make the home look larger without adding square feet is to have vaulted ceilings, as shown here.
Even though the kitchen is small, there is plenty of counter space for preparing meals, and enough cupboards and cabinets to store all the necessities a kitchen needs. In the design stage, the owners opted to have a built-in microwave above the range, saving counter space.
A walk-in shower is perfect for smaller bathrooms, and one made with glass adds style and appeal. Having the laundry area in same area as master bathroom is also a convenient space saver.
